How long have you been creating OCs?
at most since 2016, so 10+ years. edit: i created my first oc in 2009!! there's more about her later HAHAHA
Where do you keep all the info on your OCs? In a notebook? On a website? Do you share your OC profiles or stories with anyone?
mostly in my head, but because i'm lazy. i have a mega spreadsheet with info about them, i want to convert it into pages here someday. the story is shared with my best friend! we roleplay it together since 2018, half of the characters are played by me and the other half by her
Do you consider yourself primarily a writer, artist, role-player, or something else?
roleplayer first (however i don't really like roleplaying that much, only with her), artist second. not sure about the writer part, because i haven't written anything at all for others to read. our characters are born because the story needs them, but we (i) give them a design later
What first inspired you to start making characters?
my first ocs were based on ben 10 alien force! it was one of my favorite shows at that moment and i wanted so badly to be in it that i made inserts of me and my cousins
What piece of media or fictional world has influenced your OCs the most?
vocaloid for sure (tbh vocaloid is my main source for literally everything). i think the media i enjoyed at 12-14 (owari no seraph, dramatical murder, bungou stray dogs, for example. i think those are the main ones) influenced me a lot as well
Which creator, professional or not, inspires you most?
akiyama enma and two of my best friends who are also artists: pocchi & akii. will i write mroe here? who knows
How many OCs do you estimate you have?
a lot. i have 38 listed here, there are also my old ocs, my sona, some characters that i made just for a specific project and didn't touch it again... probably over 50 for now

i love them a loooot, if they're written well. i like pretty much everything, and if something disturbs me too much, i just close the tab xd i think more people should do the same, i just can't understand those who enjoy dark media but are the first to jump when that dark media they supposedly enjoy is, indeed, dark (yes, i'm looking at you, nitroplus/nitro+chiral "fans")

How often do you redesign OCs?
not that often. i don't really do full redesigns, what i do the most is small tweaks if i don't like a certain aspect of them anymore, or if i see another character that it's coincidentally similar. even after the "redesign" their core essence is still there

not really HAHAHA i think i haven't made any proper reference sheet yet for ANY of my characters, i just use
Do you listen to music while creating?
absolutely. for me, creating is an act of abstraction, if i'm living "my real life" by listening to "real life sounds" i'm not as creative
